Tekom-Puk, has passed AREVA Exam with Success – August 2010

Turkish section AREVA T&D Sourcing Delegation of the firm AREVA with French Origin which is in the position of the World Leader especially in nuclear and renewable energy matters has realised a quality and system inspection in İzmir Tekom-Puk Installations. All the departments and activities of the firm are thoroughly examined in the inspection and at the end Tekom-Puk has received 81 points over the total of 100 points and acquired the right of being the supplier of Class “A”.

As it is known AREVA has been playing a major role in the investments related with transmission and distribution of energy in many countries in the world. It has been working with hundreds of selected suppliers from different sectors. It applies meticulous inspection processes while selecting its suppliers. One of those meticulous inspections is recently realized in Tekom-Puk. At the end of the inspection lasting all the day Tekom has succeeded to take its place within the suppliers of Class A of AREVA. With the inspection, which is a true success for Tekom-Puk, a great possibility has been created for the firm, in the field of supply of carrying and supporting systems of cables which will be needed in the future investments.

General Manager Murad Saygın made explanations about the matter and underlined the ultimate importance of the inspection for Tekom-Puk, expressed that passing successfully the inspection is an indicator attesting the level reached by Turkish Industry and continued as follows:

“Tekom-Puk, has been supplying goods to many projects of industry and energy not only in Turkey but also in foreign countries especially in recent years. Even I can comfortably express that a major part of our realized projects are of the industry and energy sectors. In this context Tekom-Puk is becoming a more powerful mark day by day. Although the obtention of a successful result in the realized inspection is a source of happiness and pride, at the same time it was something expected. Result of the inspection proved once more the correctness of our course. With this result I expect that we will have much denser relationship with AREVA in the following period. Besides that it constitutes an important reference and example for our similar customers acting in the sector”

Besides that Saygın thanked his team creating suitable conditions under which the inspection happened in an extremely positive and successful way, and offered his gratitude to AREVA Authorities selecting Tekom-Puk as its supplier.
